Staff Spotlight: Meet Yasser Arafat, Karma Concierge Manager, Bangalore

In the latest edition of Staff Spotlight, meet Yasser Arafat, our Karma Concierge manager based in Bangalore. His role is to address and promptly resolve any Member concerns related to their booking – always ensuring only the best customer service is delivered.  

Born and bred in Bangalore, Yasser brings with him nearly 12 years of experience in the customer service field. His expertise and dedication will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to our Concierge team as we continue expanding our horizons and striving to offer our Members the best services possible.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Yasser is an avid enthusiast of MotoGP, history, geopolitics, science & technology, current affairs, tennis, and football. His diverse interests and energetic personality make him a really great fit for our team! 

What attracted you to the Karma Group?

I was drawn to the Karma Group because of its emphasis on luxury, exotic locations, and focus on creating memorable experiences. I also feel that the team’s commitment and dedication to delivering excellence resonates deeply with my own aspirations.
Of course, my passion for travel and lifestyle also makes the Karma Group the perfect fit!

Tell us about life in Bangalore in 2025?

Life is a fast-paced adventure here – living in Bangalore makes us adaptable and prepared for just about anything!

Describe your perfect work day?

Technology is amazing – to be able to sit thousands of miles away from someone yet solve their concerns and help make their dreams come true, by exceeding their expectations, is a real privilege. Seeing that smile on their face at the end of it all, makes for the perfect day.

Where are your favourite Karma Group destinations and why?

So far, my favourite Karma Group destinations are:
• Karma Sitabani in Uttarakhand, India, for its serene wildlife and nature experience.
• Karma Fushi in the Maldives, because it’s the ultimate luxury getaway!
• Karma Karnak in Egypt, because of my fascination with ancient history!

If you could book a KG getaway with any historical figure or famous person, who would it be and why?

I’d love to book a Karma Group getaway with Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, because of my passion for Formula 1 and Ferrari cars! Perhaps I would invite cricket legend, Virat Kohli, another one of my personal heroes, to join us!

Do you have a personal dream or aspiration that you would be willing to share with us?

My aspiration is to live a life filled with purpose, kindness, continuous learning, and gratitude. I aspire to lead, inspire and empower others to their full potential. Ultimately, to be a positive influence in the world, no matter how small it is. 
Being part of the Karma Group community gives me a place where I can spend hours of my day doing something that truly connects with my values, it feels right!
