We’re delighted to announce that England Rugby Internationals Danny Care and Jonny Hill are both joining us as Karma Ambassadors, helping us to raise the profile of Karma Group activities around the world, with a particular emphasis on our philanthropic projects.
We couldn’t have chosen a more opportune time as both Danny and Jonny are part of the England Squad taking on the Aussies in a series of matches in Australia. Whilst both men played great games in the first Test on Saturday 02 July – they unfortunately didn’t get the win in what was an exciting and hotly contested game that ended 30-28 to the home team. No doubt they’ll be laser focused on revenge in next weekend’s match in Brisbane – this is an important warm up series for the Rugby World Cup in France next year.
At the age of 35, Danny Care is playing some of the best rugby of his career at Harlequins in the pivotal scrum half position hence his call up to the England squad after a four year hiatus.
At 2m 3’ Jonny Hill is literally one of the giants of the game – a second row phenomenon who plays for Sale Sharks. Jonny played his England debut against Italy in 2020 and was part of the Lions squad that toured South Africa.
Huge congratulations to both men for making the team – we’ll be following their progress avidly and very much look forward to welcoming them at our resorts and special events around the world in the near future.
