Meet Ni Made Pradnyani – Karma Concierge Bali
This week, it’s our pleasure to introduce you to the lovely Made – who we’re sure many of our Members have had the chance to chat with!
Made, also known by her nickname ‘Ni’, was born and raised on the Island of the Gods so definitely knows her top tips and tricks for the region. Ni Made always goes above and beyond to assist our Karma Group Members and is always a source of positivity in the office…
Where are you from and how long have you been working for Karma Group?
I am originally from Marga, a small village in Tabanan Regency in Bali. I have been working for almost 5 years with Karma Group.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I am able to make and build a good relationship with people around the world and am happy to assist with all their queries.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I love traveling. A few years ago before I joined the Karma Group team I worked on a cruise ship, so got to visit many different countries including America!
Are there any Balinese traditions that you think our Members should experience?
Yes, Members should come and stay before Nyepi and during Nyepi. Nyepi is Balinese New Year and there will be a lot of ceremonies before Nyepi such as Melasti Day ( a Hindu Balinese purification ceremony and ritual ) and Ogoh2 Parade.
What are your future goals and aspirations both professionally and personally?
My future goals are to be able to improve my skill as a Member Services specialist, learn how to deal with Members and assist with all their queries professionally , and improve my English written and verbal.
If you could visit any country in the world, where would it be and why?
I would love to see Europe, Europe has so many beautiful places to visit.
Are there any Indonesian snacks or dishes you would recommend for us to try?
I will recommend to try Sate Plecing (grilled meat served on satay sticks, with spicy sauce).
Nyepi (Silent Day) is coming up in March, how do you and your family/friends like to celebrate?
A day before Nyepi we pray together with family and will do Ogoh – Ogoh Parade (giant handmade statues of Balinese spirits) in the evening. During Nyepi day, I will take this opportunity to spend more time with my family, especially my two boys.
