We continue to fill our Karma Curated calendar with a kaleidoscope of global experiences – this edition we’re looking forward to half a dozen extraordinary adventures scheduled for March 2027, each designed to immerse you in different facets of Asia…
First off, The Jim Corbett Jungle Safari (09-12 March) ventures into the tiger-trodden forests of Corbett, where hidden jungle trails, wildlife observation bunkers and a night at The Jamoon Camp bring Members into the untamed heart of India’s legendary tiger reserve. Days later, Tea Trails & Tibetan Tales (15-18 March) beckons from the Himalayas: tea estates in Palampur, campfire nights beneath the spectacular Dhauladhar peaks, prayer chants at Gyuto Monastery and irresistible momos (steamed or fried dumplings) eaten at altitude at Karma Tashi in Dharamshala.
Silk, Sanctuaries & Sunset Sails in Vietnam (10-12 March) enters the picture with Hoi An’s silk weavers, a bowl of cao lau noodle soup, the ancient Champa temples of My Son Sanctuary and the Hoi An Bamboo Circus, a performance that fuses traditional Vietnamese artistry with contemporary stagecraft. Three days later, The Underwater World of Bali (16-18 March) takes us to East Bali’s somnolent coastline with a stay at Karma Royal Candidasa: snorkelling at the world-famous Blue Lagoon, a traditional boat to stunning Virgin Beach and a fresh seafood lunch with the ocean doing the rest.
Cambodia delivers one of the month’s most extraordinary moments with Sacred Sunrise at Angkor Wat (21-23 March), when the spring equinox sun rises in precise alignment behind Angkor Wat’s central tower, a spectacle that has sold out twice already. Cooking classes, the Phare Cambodian Circus and Tonlé Sap Lake complete three remarkable days at Karma Bayon.
We close out the month with Land of the Leopards (29 March-01 April) in Rajasthan, where leopards roam granite hills above the Jawai Dam in one of India’s most singular wildernesses, before a farewell dinner at the Jagmandir Island Palace on Lake Pichola draws the curtain on an exceptional month.
