At Karma Group, we understand that your furry friends are an integral part of your family, and we believe that no vacation should be complete without them – That’s why we have extended our dog-friendly properties across India, as well as at selected properties worldwide, welcoming Members and their four-legged companions with open arms…
To ensure that you and your dog have the best possible experience during your stay, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions regarding our pet policy, amenities, and guidelines – Here’s everything you need to know:
Which Indian properties are dog-friendly?
Members may take their dogs to Karma Royal Haathi Mahal (hotel units only), Karma Chakra, Karma Royal Palms, Karma Royal Monterio, Karma Sitabani, and Karma Sunshine Village (in selected apartments/rooms only).
Is there an additional charge to bring my dog?
No, it’s free for the members of our Club!
Does my dog have to be vaccinated?
Yes, and you will be asked to provide the vaccination number when confirming your booking.
How far in advance do I have to advise that my dog will be staying with me?
A minimum of 30 day booking notice is required.
Are there dog-specific units?
Yes, each property has an allotted number of dog-friendly units to allow for the comfort of other guests.
Am I responsible for my dog during my holiday?
Yes, and dogs are not permitted to roam free or pose a risk to other guests.
Is my dog allowed in all areas of the resort?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in pool areas, restaurants, spas, or recreational areas.
Will the property provide pet food?
The Member will be responsible for bringing their own pet food, however, we are happy to provide fresh water.
What happens if my dog damages the resort’s property?
Members will be required to cover any damages caused by their dog and must clean up after the dog throughout the stay.
