From July through December, the latest additions to the Karma Curated calendar offer a kaleidoscope shifting from London’s theatre district to the islands and atolls of the Andamans, from mantas in the Maldives to the deserts of Rajasthan and finally Goa, where whisky’s on the menu…
We alight first of all in one of the world’s most historic and vibrant capitals: London regales us with musical theatre, an ABBA and Queen tribute performed by candlelight, followed by a three-course dinner at The Libertine, all velvet drapes and storied walls.
From burlesque basements to Indian Ocean atolls, as we turn our attention east to the Andaman Islands, where talcum-soft beaches, snorkelling and the layered history of Port Blair unfold at an unhurried pace.
Those craving more ocean time can join a second sailing aboard Karma Fushi, seven days threaded with manta ray encounters, technicolour reefs and skies thick with stars above the Maldives. Inland and further west, Rajasthan delivers its annual spectacle: the Pushkar Camel Fair, where the rose-hued lanes of Jaipur give way to dune-side dinners and evenings at Karma Haveli, a rare backstage pass to one of India’s great cultural gatherings.
The calendar closes in Goa, where Christmas arrives with sun rather than snow. Expect handmade paper stars, lively market stalls and a whisky-pairing dinner with Paul John Distillery, each pour a small toast to the year’s end.
Five very different journeys, one thread: spaces designed for connection, where the only task left to members is showing up.
