Getting There: Karma Fushi & Karma Karnak

Some destinations have bucket-list written all over them. The Maldives and the Nile Valley are among them. Each has a reputation that can make them feel just that little bit out of reach. For Members they are not – in fact we invite you to experience them like few people ever can, with our unique cruise experiences aboard Karma Fushi and Karma Karnak. Both vessels are easier to get to than most Members realise, and worth every hour of the journey once you arrive.

Karma Fushi sits in the Maldives’ Baa Atoll, where the next chapter of Mantas, Reefs & Maldivian Nights sets sail on 11 to 17 September, with a second sailing following on 23 to 29 October. Seven days of manta encounters at Hanifaru Bay, reef snorkelling and sunset sails await, and getting there is no obstacle. Velana International Airport in Malé is one of the best-connected hubs in the region, with direct flights from Dubai, Doha, Singapore, Istanbul and Colombo, plus seasonal routes from London, Paris and several Italian cities. From there, it’s a short domestic hop or speedboat transfer to Dharavandhoo, where Karma Fushi awaits.

Karma Karnak, meanwhile, rewards those drawn to history over millennial horizons. Set among Luxor’s ancient temples and royal tombs, it makes an exceptional base for exploring the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple and the Nile itself. Luxor International Airport connects most reliably via Cairo, with EgyptAir running frequent daily services, alongside seasonal direct flights from London, Manchester, Milan, Madrid and Barcelona during the cooler months.

Two very different journeys, both far closer than you think.
