A Night of Fusion in Bengaluru
For the first time, our Karma Group family gathered in Bengaluru for the annual awards with 250 guests at the Radisson Blu on 05 October.. Our own Sandeep Shetty and Winston Miranda kicked things off before Karma Chairman John Spence shared his vision for the future.
The Dollu Kunitha folk dancers – a popular Karnataka drum dance tradition performed, while our Karma Experience team wowed everyone with their Bharatanatyam performance, showing that talent runs deep in our ranks!
Of course, the awards were the heart of the evening, celebrating the best and brightest among us. We rounded the evening off with a live DJ and open bar plus cooking stations serving a wide range of expertly prepared local dishes.
Goa Takes Us Around the World With Karma
The Goa celebration embraced an aviation theme. Jessica and George hosted the evening, with George embracing his role as an unconventional Russian pilot, while Jessica played the part of a flight attendant.
The awards ceremony was interspersed with entertainment, including a Kalaripayattu display while the Haathi Mahal Front Office team surprised everyone with their energetic rendition of “Gangnam Style.”
A highlight of the evening was the chairman’s presentation of special awards to Ramesh Patil and Esperanca Patricio, recognizing their remarkable 30-year tenures with Karma Group.
The celebration continued with a masquerade party, as the band Raagas to Riches and DJ Ryan Nogar kept the dance floor busy well into the early hours.
Beachside Bliss and Olympic Spectacle in Bali
The Annual Awards Ceremony in Bali dazzled attendees with two spectacular events this year. The first on 10th October was an intimate gathering of 100 guests, honouring two decades of commitment and service by our devoted Karma Group team members, fittingly at the newly renovated Warung Pantai down on Karma Beach. 24 winners and their families were treated to an evening of elegance, featuring mesmerising fire dancers and live musical performances.
The main event, held on October 11th at Puri Bhagawan, was a grand affair with 850 attendees. VIP guests from Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Australia joined the celebration, adding an international flair to the proceedings. The Olympics-themed gala showcased an impressive acrobatic display that left the audience in awe.
Entertainment reached new heights with the Voice of Karma Band taking centre stage, while DJs kept the energy high throughout the night. The festivities culminated in a breathtaking fireworks display, illuminating the Bali sky and providing a fitting finale to this year’s extraordinary Annual Awards Ceremony.
