New Frontiers, New Horizons

2024 has been a positively pioneering year for us here at Karma Group as we introduce four incredible new destination experiences – including two new countries, an evergreen favourite and our first luxury ocean-going vessel. Karma Fushi will soon cruise the waters of the Maldives; we’re thrilled to add Cambodia to our Southeast Asia repertoire with Karma Bayon in Siem Reap, gateway to Angkor Wat. Karma Panalee is a fabulous beachfront resort in Koh Samui, whilst in Goa, the picturesque village of Benaulim is the site of Karma Varuna, a stunning new resort complex featuring world-class suites and amenities.

Karma Fushi, Maldives

Karma Group invites you to embark on a bucket list Maldives cruise aboard the luxurious 160 feet  Karma Fushi. This stunning vessel will boast spacious cabins, a floating pool, water slide, Jacuzzi, and world-class dining.

Glide through turquoise waters, exploring pristine palm-fringed beaches and coral gardens. Dive & snorkel enthusiasts can discover vibrant marine life, including whale sharks, manta rays, and rare turtle species. There’s also world-class fishing, kitesurfing, jet skiing, and paddleboarding to be enjoyed in this Indian Ocean paradise.

The adventure begins with boat transfers from Malé to the Karma Fushi, ensuring a seamless transition into luxury. Indulge in fine wines from the on-board cellar while taking in the stunning atolls and reefs of this extraordinary archipelago. With its high-end amenities and access to the Maldives’ natural wonders, Karma Fushi offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore one of the world’s most beautiful destinations in comfort and style.

Karma Bayon, Siem Reap, Cambodia

Cambodia has long been on our radar as one of Southeast Asia’s hidden gems when it comes to culture, cuisine and sheer natural beauty. So we’re delighted to bring you Karma Bayon, a stunning retreat in the heart of Siem Reap offering Members a luxurious gateway to the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat temple complex.

Karma Bayon features beautifully appointed rooms and suites, blending contemporary style with traditional Khmer elements. Members can enjoy amenities including two outdoor pools, a world-class spa, cocktail bar, and exquisite dining.

Just 3.8 miles away, Angkor Wat beckons – a 900-year-old wonder four times larger than the Vatican City. This legendary complex, featured in Tomb Raider, represents one of the region’s most advanced ancient cultures, only discovered in the 1840s. Siem Reap itself charms with its Buddhist monasteries, colonial history, cafes, and boutiques. Another bucket-list destination for Karma Group Members in 2025!

Karma Panalee, Koh Samui, Thailand

When it comes to paradisiacal tropical archipelagos, few destinations can compete with Koh Samui – which is also the name of the largest of the 42 islands and islets that make up the grouping.

Karma Group Chairman John Spence first visited Koh Samui 40 years ago, making the launch of Karma Panalee on tranquil Bang Po Beach a heartfelt return. Just 20 minutes from the airport, this serene, beachfront resort offers spacious rooms surrounded by lush gardens.

Karma Panalee blends contemporary comfort with traditional Thai charm, featuring air-conditioned rooms, flat-screen TVs, and luxurious amenities. Guests can relax by the palm-lined pool or enjoy local and international dishes at the on-site restaurant.

Nearby, explore Mae Nam Beach, the setting for a Michelin Bib Gourmand eatery, or venture further to discover Koh Samui’s waterfalls, snorkelling spots, and iconic Big Buddha Temple. Karma Panalee offers an idyllic escape, adding to Karma Group’s growing Southeast Asian portfolio.

Karma Varuna, Goa, India

Karma Group’s journey began in Goa, so it’s fitting that we announce Karma Varuna, a stunning new resort close to Benaulim Beach, soon after our 30th anniversary. Set on the Arabian Sea, this coastal paradise is steeped in legend as the birthplace of Goa.

Karma Varuna will unfold in two phases, featuring around 100 contemporary ensuite residences that blend modern luxury with the area’s rich cultural heritage. As the monsoon recedes, construction will begin on this coastal gem.

Guests can expect world-class accommodations and playful nods to local lore, including a mural of the sea god Varuna greeting visitors. Karma Varuna offers a unique blend of ancient stories and modern indulgence, marking a new chapter in Karma Group’s love affair with Goa. Stay tuned for updates!

Warung Pantai

A fabulous new beachside eatery and gathering ground at Karma Kandara curated by Chef Joseph Antonishek. The menu fuses flavours from Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and Indonesia, offering dishes like jumbo crab summer rolls, Cambodian fish cakes, and Thai crispy mushrooms. Main courses include Kerala Chicken Moilee and Vietnamese-inspired Pork Tomahawk Chop. Desserts feature tropical twists on classics. There’s also an enticing South Indian breakfast menu, created in collaboration with Chef Jeevraj from Northern India, including dosas, idli sambar, and Kerala egg roast with appam, bringing diverse Asian cuisine to the beachfront dining experience.

Le Platane Bistrot

Karma Group recently acquired an authentic French bistro in Caux et Sauzens near Carcassonne and Karma Château de Samary. This new culinary gem celebrates Languedoc flavours & provincial French country cooking at its best. The elegantly rustic setting features traditional outdoor furniture on an inviting terrace, while the menu showcases regional specialties like cassoulet, Toulouse sausage, and magret & confit de canard, complemented by a locally-focused wine list.
