THE LIVING GLASS SERIES: PUNE

Malaka Spice hosted the closing chapter of The Living Glass Series, where Members built their own terrariums and swapped stories over the process, many newcomers among them.
KARMA SUPPER CLUB: NOT YOUR AVERAGE PASTA NIGHT

Karma Kandara’s irreverent AL DENTE AS FCK: PASTOLOGY took handmade pasta to punk rock places. Chef-Director Joseph Antonishek opened proceedings with a Venetian-style aperitivo, an early-evening drink and small plates, then a flour-filled workshop delicately rolling tagliolini, before a five-course dinner reworking Italian classics at di Mare Restaurant – and no floppy pasta to be found.
PRIVATE DOLPHIN & PIG ISLAND ESCAPE
25 to 27 August 2026
Members swapped Koh Samui’s shoreline for open water, skimming alongside playful dolphins at Dolphin Bay and meeting the famous swimming pigs of Pig Island. Snorkelling over vibrant coral reefs and a beachfront dinner at Karma Two Palms Beach rounded out the escape.
BECAKS, MARKETS & FLAVOURS OF JIMBARAN
25 to 27 August 2026
Members settled into Karma Royal Jimbaran, swapping the beach for rice terraces, driving inland to Padangaling village in Tabanan for a browse through a Balinese market, a cooking class in a traditional kitchen and a visit to the local school, plus a relaxing becak ride through the paddies and a seafood fiesta at the resort’s Garden Restaurant.
TRAILS, FALLS & THRILLS OF KARJAT
23 August 2026
A one-day trek through the wonderful mountainscapes of Karjat in the Sahyadri hills of Maharashtra’s Western Ghats, featuring a cloud forest lush after the monsoon. There was a break for a swift tug-of-war contest and some frisbee before reaching the falls for a welcome swim and a spot of cliff jumping.
CHAMPAGNE, DINNER & OPERA UNDER THE STARS IN HOLLAND PARK
20 August 2026
Fine wine and dinner at the Belvedere led into a double bill at Holland Park Opera, under open skies. A bucket-list night, and a lovely group of Members to share it with.
LAKES, LAGERS & LEGENDS OF BAVARIA
16 to 19 August 2026
Rain rerouted the itinerary more than once, but Herrenchiemsee’s palace, a boat to Fraueninsel and an unplanned detour to the Audi Museum in Ingolstadt still delivered a fabulous four days at Karma Bavaria.
