20 October was World Chef Day – when we celebrate the masters of flavour and culinary technique whose goal in life is to excite our taste buds and wake us up to the sensory wonders – sight, touch, aroma, taste – of cuisine and food cultures around the world. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our Karma Group chefs for all that they do – and to offer up a classically cosmopolitan recipe from chef Joseph Antonishek – an impossible to resist Chawanmushi – a savoury egg-custard dish that is quintessentially Japanese…and delicious!
