How did your journey with Karma Group begin, and what inspired you to join as a Sales Consultant in Goa back in October 2011?

In 2011, I stumbled upon Karma Group in a Times of India ad. The idea of working and travelling globally hooked me, so I joined as a Sales Consultant in Goa. The inspiration? Simply wanting to explore every nook of the world and embrace a working lifestyle that felt like more than just a job.

Coming from Gujarat, what aspects and traditions of your home state do you carry with you in your professional life at Karma Group?

Hailing from Gujarat, I bring the ethos of embracing a healthy diet and a strong work ethic to my professional life at Karma Group. It’s a simple philosophy: eat well, work hard, and success will naturally follow.

Being recognised as the Best Performer in-house for three consecutive years (2014, 2015, and 2017) is an outstanding accomplishment! Which characteristics do you owe your success to?

Persistence and enthusiasm!

What’s a book, movie, or song that’s inspired you recently?

“Fear not be strong’’ – A book by Swami Vivekananda. I recommend this book as it encourages resilience and strength, offering timeless wisdom to navigate life’s challenges with courage.

You’ve also worked with the team at Karma Bavaria, Germany, what were the highlights of your experience?

I would have to say: Developing my communication skills and enhancing my vibrant personality.

Outside of work, what are your interests and hobbies that help you recharge and refresh?

I enjoy regular yoga, meditation, and playing cricket!

If you could visit any Karma Group property in the world, which would you choose and why?

I would go back to Karma Bavaria again, it was an absolute pleasure to work in Bavaria!

What’s a favourite local dish from Gujarat that you would recommend to someone visiting for the first time?

Dhokla-khaman: A traditional Gujarati dish. It’s a steamed cake made from different flours. It’s often served with a delicious chutney or as part of a larger meal.
