Sri Antari- Karma Concierge Bali

In this week’s Staff Spotlight we return to the Island of Gods, where it’s our pleasure to introduce you to the wonderful Sri Antari.

Sri is a long-standing team member of Karma Group, being part of the family for over two decades! If your servicing office is Karma Concierge Bali, you’ve most definitely had a friendly conversation with Sri just before you’re about to getaway; as she deals with all the pre-holiday finer details…

Where are you from and how long have you been working for Karma Group?

I come from Kuta, Bali and I joined Karma Group in 1998!

What’s your favourite thing about Bali and being Balinese?

I love my Balinese food, beaches, and traditional ceremonies that we have every day, month and year – As a Hindu, I always enjoy these.

How would you describe the culture in the Karma Concierge Bali Office?

As a team, we are so close to each other and have become a family as the office is our second home. Whenever we have an issue, we support each other and work together as a team to sort the problem.

If you could holiday at any Karma Group property, which would it be and why?

Karma Royal Candidasa, the resort is nice and cosy with oceanfront views! Plus it is close to the popular attractions of East Bali.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

My favourite hobby is Yoga, teaching it to others or just practising myself.

Do you have a favourite Balinese food/dish you’d recommend?

Rujak (A mixture of sliced fruit and vegetables served with a spicy palm sugar dressing) & Babi Guling (Spit roast pig – One of the most famous cultural dishes in Bali)

Who inspires you the most within the Karma Group family?

Mr David Hadson my General Manager. He is so hard working and always tries to do the best for his staff and the Karma Group Members.

Where is your must-see attraction or spot on the Island of Gods that you can share with our Members/Guests?

The Tirta Empul Holy Water Temple, located near the town of Tampaksiring. (Tirta Empul is dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu God of water. In the Balinese language, Tirta Empul loosely translated means water gushing from the earth)
