My recent trip to the Maldives was a perfect blend of paradise and adventure. On Karma Fushi, you couldn’t be closer to the crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life of the Indian Ocean. Whether you’re into kayaking, snorkelling, or simply soaking in the views, this is an island made for adventure! For smooth sailing, it’s really important to complete the Traveller’s Declaration, be mindful of the itinerary and follow the boat’s regulations.

On Karma Fushi, guests can enjoy complimentary activities like snorkelling, paddleboarding, and Try Dive (with pre-booking and medical clearance). For those looking for more thrills, parasailing and jet skiing are available at an extra cost.

Day 1 – A Warm Welcome
Our journey began with a scenic Doni boat ride which immediately immersed us in the culture and island vibe. After a warm welcome and a brief orientation, we headed to the top deck. As the sun set over the vast ocean, we felt our stress melt away. We finished the day with a peaceful night fishing expedition with stars above us and playful dolphins swimming nearby.

Day 2 – Water Adventures & Sundowner Party
We began with a serene sunrise kayaking session, followed by paddleboarding and swimming. After breakfast, we snorkelled in the most alive waters imaginable and even spotted a sea turtle. For me, the day’s highlight was the lively sundowner party on the top deck with music, drinks, and a stunning sunset.

Day 3 – Deep Sea Snorkelling & Adventure Sports
Our third day was all about adventure. We went deep-sea snorkelling, encountered harmless reef sharks and huge colourful schools of fish. Later, we went parasailing and jet skiing on Maafushi Island which was a perfect adrenaline rush.

Day 4 – Departure & Farewell
On our final morning, we watched the sunrise, and with coffee in hand, we were grateful for the memories made. Though leaving was bittersweet, I carried with me the unforgettable experiences of this tropical paradise.

There’s no doubt, seeing the Maldives from the luxurious, warm hospitality of Karma Fushi is an experience worth having!
