We stayed at Karma Haveli in March ’24. Arrival was smooth. Karma Haveli is the 18th century property having retro era architecture style which is preserved and maintained very well by the Karma Group with all necessary modern amenities. The rooms are spacious and give a feel of good old times! Culinary delights at Karma Kasuri were worth trying. Cherry on the cake was our daughter’s birthday celebration as well as Holi; the festival of colours celebration. Special thanks to the team at Karma Haveli who were truly courteous with top notch hospitality. Our stay was memorable, and we enjoyed quality time over there…

My recent stay at Karma Royal Candidasa in Bali was a truly memorable experience. Situated along the stunning coastline, the resort offers a tranquil oasis that combines natural beauty with luxurious amenities.
The first thing that impressed me was the breathtaking view from my room. Waking up to the sight of the ocean stretching out before me was truly magical. The accommodations at Karma Royal Candidasa are designed with comfort and elegance in mind, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration.
The service at the resort was exceptional. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, the staff made me feel truly valued as a guest. Their knowledge of the local area and recommendations for activities added to the overall enjoyment of my trip.
One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience at Karma Royal Candidasa. The resort offers a variety of culinary delights, from traditional Balinese dishes to international cuisine, all prepared with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Dining by the ocean under the stars was a memorable experience.
The resort’s facilities are also worth mentioning. The infinity pool overlooking the sea provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind, while the spa treatments offered a rejuvenating escape. The resort’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices was also commendable.
Overall, my stay at Karma Royal Candidasa exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious retreat in Bali. I look forward to returning in the future to create more cherished memories in this idyllic setting.

We just got back from a wonderful week of family fun in the sun (& the occasional monsoon drizzle or rain shower) at the Karma Royal Boat Lagoon in Phuket. Our spacious accommodations in joint Premier Marina suites was so comfortable & relaxing, & we enjoyed spending time on the large private patios here, watching the boats come in, & pretty sunrises & sunsets. The sumptuous breakfasts by the pool were so enjoyable, with a vast variety of items to choose from. The pool was a delight, especially when the weather was not conducive to venturing out. As we had rented a car for the entire week, on our arrival at the airport, we were able to explore & enjoy Phuket to the maximum, & even enjoyed a side trip to Koh Phi Phi. This visit was our third to this highly recommended family vacation destination. Thank you Karma, for the warm & attentive hospitality & wonderful facilities made available for us!
With warm greetings to all our Karma family.

As usual I left a Karma Group property with a huge smile on my face! This was Karma Bavaria, in an idyllic picturesque location called Schliersee- one hour from Munich. Everything was picture perfect, right from being picked up at Munich airport by a taxi we had booked, to the courtesy, hospitality, and smiling service of the staff and the delicious daily breakfast. The resort was so comfortable with a swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room which I used practically daily.
We stayed there for 5 nights including the 2 day Karma experience. As participants we were treated with some local sightseeing and a visit to a local brewery, a 100 yr old cabin serving local food, an ancient bakery and foraging, which involved walking in the forest and gathering and learning about herbs used for cooking . It ended with a delicious 5 course dinner made by the talented chefs Lucia and Augustus and us learning a bit about German cooking. We were lucky that the head of Europe operations Valerios was there. He along with Nihaan made our stay even more enjoyable with their personalised touches.
I would like to add that in recent years every Karma Group resort has been a joy to visit. Last year in Jan 23 I went to Hoi An, Vietnam for a week. The warmth of the staff there actually brought tears to my eyes. I was travelling alone and they took such good care, it was unforgettable. Unfortunately I did not send a review then, so I’m mentioning it now.
We went to Karma Martam, Sikkim also and to the Kerala resort which was also beautiful. And a visit to Goa Haathi Mahal every 2 years is a must. We enjoy every moment at Haathi Mahal and therefore go there often. Look forward to visiting many more Karma properties in the future.

We stayed in Karma Martam Retreat, East Sikkim and I must say that it was a fabulous experience for us. We initially planned to stay for 4 nights but we liked our stay so much that we extended 3 nights more and made it a 7 nights staycation. The rooms were very spacious and the view from rooms were also quite insta worthy. The hotel staff were very welcoming and gracious. They were always smiling and willing to help us in all possible ways. Service was very good and prompt. We had half board meals as complimentary, so we enjoyed breakfast and dinner everyday and I must say that they prepare mouth watering food. Menu was different on each day and also included local dishes, so it was a great experience in terms of food as well. Hotel GM was gracious enough to offer us a complimentary lunch for a day as well. They will also arrange for cars if you want to roam North, South or West Sikkim and their rates are also very affordable. Overall our stay was peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend this place if you would want to pamper yourself for a couple of days in the mountains.

Hi all. We arrived at the new resort Karma Bayon in Siem Reap on Friday and have been blown away by how good it is. Despite being open only a few weeks they have most of the kinks ironed out, the staff are wonderful, and the facilities superb.
We were fortunate enough to be here for the official opening ceremony, including a blessing by the local Buddhist monks.
All the dignitaries were there – both local and from head office. And shortly before the speeches were due to start … the area was hit by a ferocious tropical rain storm.
But the show must go on, and so it did, under the cover of the outdoor bar area by the pool.
The storm didn’t dampen the spirits and Chairman John Spence introduced and thanked the local dignitaries, business partners, and facilities owners.
The resort has a great chef and kitchen and the food was wonderful. The drinks flowed freely (but of course in sensible moderation), and I understand that as the evening wore on, the staff took over the dance floor and the the local Khmer pop songs were in high demand.
It was great to see the staff who are so hard working during the day be given the opportunity to join in the celebrations. Richly deserved.
Of course it’s not just the resort that is a highlight. The rich cultural heritage of the region is amazing and Angkor Wat is as significant a site as the pyramids. The surrounding temples are also not to be missed and provide some spectacular viewing.
If you haven’t booked yet, get in quick because this resort will be in high demand.

Just finished a gorgeous stay at karma in hoian Vietnam. Can’t speak more highly of this place it gets all thumbs up. The staff really go out of the way to give the karma experiance, happy hours to meet and greets to Spanish night it was all a blast and got to meet so many members. Every creature comfort was thought about even to the point of ice blocks to keep the pool cool. We loved it so much we extended our stay!! Will definitely be back to stay here.

Since it was in France it would be only natural to start with the bad parts : The doors in the main building need some kind of rubber buffers to silence them a bit from all the closing and opening.
And with the positives : IT WAS GLORIOUS !!!!
A really Glorious Stay in Carcassonne!
Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, and not just in the French sense. Our glasses were never empty, thanks to Chris, who was an exceptional entertainer and clearly knew his audience well.
The staff and services were consistently excellent and punctual. One standout memory is of our driver, who provided a fascinating history lesson about the city and the old town on our way there, along with some fantastic food recommendations. Speaking of food, Keeley is a true culinary artist. I sincerely hope she will be cooking for us again on our next visit.
My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer, but that’s something to look forward to next time!

We’re back after 6 years and not much has changed. It’s still as fabulous as ever.
This time we arrived on the overnight ferry from Athens and hired a car in Heraklion. The 1 hour drive to Karma in daylight is very pleasant, but in the dark it can be a bit daunting. Parking at Minoan is limited and some of the roads are narrow, so we plumped for a small car. Alternatively, you can catch the hotel hopper bus from the airport if you pre-book online, and there’s a local bus service to Agios Nikolaos once you’re here. Car hire is available from reception.
The resort has the traditional blue and white paintwork and faces east, with stunning views over the Gulf of Mirabello.
The rooms are simple and very nice, some with a balcony and chairs and some with a shared terrace and loungers. The pool and bar/restaurant area is the place to meet and chat. Did I mention the stunning view?
There is a games area with table tennis and a well equipped rooftop gym. There are also lots of steps, as it’s built into the cliff face, with rooms on 4 levels. There is no lift. And the view from the top !!!!!!! Every room has a sea view.
Breakfast was included and very good. The lunch and dinner menu feature traditional Cretan food beautifully prepared by the very good local chefs. We ate here on the terrace most evenings, after enjoying happy hour and getting to know the other guests.
The staff are mainly local and eager to share their fabulous island and cuisine to make your stay memorable and enjoyable.
Out and about, the town of Agios Nikolaos is about 5km away by car, bus or taxi. There are a few beaches and restaurants within walking distance. Further afield you’ll find some lovely fish restaurants which will cook your chosen catch of the day.
Reception can recommend places to visit and tours to take, but the best excursions for us were the gentle drives along the coast roads and then turning up into the mountains for the views, mountain scenery, olive groves, sheep and the remote villages with tavernas and locals enjoying a drink.
