Dear Valued Member,
As we bid farewell to the northern hemisphere summer and welcome spring south of the equator, we’re excited to bring you the 2023 edition of Karma Chronicles. Once again it’s been an action-packed year – and a special one too as we celebrate our 30th anniversary. We’ve continued to expand the Karma Group property portfolio, pioneering exciting new locations – not to mention a host of unique travel adventures via our one-of-a-kind Karma Curated Experience micro-adventures that offer deeper dives into destinations from Goa to Tuscany to Bali and beyond.

New resorts include Karma Utopia in magical Manali – gateway to the Himalayas and Karma Sobek in Sharm El Sheikh on Egypt’s stunning Sinai Peninsula, Karma Martam Retreat among the dramatic mountains of Sikkim, while in Karma Kandara, Bali there’s a brand new development of architect designed luxury apartments to discover.
There are scores of resorts to discover across the globe, so we also train the spotlight on our Members’ testimonials of some of our resorts – from Karma Lake of Menteith to Karma Seven Lakes in Udaipur. And Karma Group’s dedication to bringing you standout destination experiences has been further enhanced with our comprehensive new Karma Curated Experience programme, featuring multi-day adventures that immerse you in culture, culinary traditions, incredible natural environments, the arts, action, unique festivals and more – all at radically discounted rates.
Another exciting new addition is our House of Karma (HOK) membership tier, the brainchild of Karma Group Chairman and Founder John Spence’s daughter Charlotte Spence. This pioneering membership collective is curated for modern explorers who seek unique and extraordinary experiences around the world, characterised by one-of-a-kind pop-up events, collaborations and bespoke adventures that are big on originality and high on hedonism!
Karma Cares continues to go from strength to strength, taking a connected, participatory approach to supporting causes around the world under the capable guidance of our Head of Philanthropy Victoria Williamson.

We hope that this year you’ve had the opportunity to take advantage of the many new services and products that we’ve added to the Karma Group portfolio – and watch this space as we continue to evolve and expand our offerings, blazing exciting new trails in the realms of leisure, travel and lifestyle.
We can’t do any of this without you of course – the annual management fees are crucial not only to maintain the resort portfolio but to continually improve it, achieving industry leading standards of excellence – as reflected by the raft of awards and recognitions that we receive each year. So thank you once again for joining us on this 30 year journey – and here’s to many decades more!
