Method
- Clean and peel the Bottle Gourd and discard the seeds and cut into large cubes
- Grind the masala to a fine caldin paste
- Heat oil in a pan and saute the onion for few minutes. Add the caldin paste, bottle gourd chunks and water.
- Simmer it for 2o minutes on low heat till bottle Gourd is cooked
- Add salt as per taste and serve hot with steamed rice
