Tuscany Tour de France Weekend

This year, cycling’s most prestigious race the Tour de France will start in Italy for the first time in its 121-year history. Not only that, but organisers have chosen one of our favourite Italian cities, Florence, to mark the kick off of the first stage of the Tour – a 205 km race to Rimini.

We’re offering Members the chance to witness the world’s top riders as they prepare for “Le Grand Depart,” on 29 June. Competitors and fans will gather at Piazzale Michelangelo, an iconic plaza on a hillside close to the banks of the Arno River offering stunning views over Florence.

Vini e Vecchi Sapori
Antinori nel Chianti Classico

Once we’ve witnessed the riders head off on their three week odyssey, we’ll be enjoying a rather more leisurely afternoon, with a traditional lunch at Vini Vecchi – Karma’s favourite traditional osteria in the heart of the city, followed by a wine tour of the world famous Antinori in Chianti Classico winery in the heart of the Tuscan countryside where we’ll visit the cellar and sample some of the best Chianti in the world.

The following day, enjoy a laid back two hour cycle tour around the stunning vineyards, woods and farmland surrounding Borgo di Colleoli before we round out the weekend with a specially curated Mediterranean lunch featuring all our Tuscan favourites.

Places are limited, so contact your Karma Concierge to reserve your spot ASAP!
