Maldives Adventures For Body, Heart & Soul

Looking for the perfect wellness formula? How about Vitamin Sea, Sun & Sailing as a tonic for heart and soul? Aboard Karma Fushi, our luxury liveaboard in the Maldives, we start each day before sunrise and fill the hours that follow with salt water, sunlight, and fish caught fresh that morning, and in 2027 we sail two very different expeditions around that rhythm.

From 05 to 11 March, we cruise Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, where Members head out at 5 am to troll, cast and jig for yellowfin tuna and giant trevally, then drop handlines at sunset from a dhoni, the Maldives’ traditional seaborne vessel. By turns meditative & physically challenging, this is a trip that all keen fishos shouldn’t miss. Our onboard chef turns the morning catch into sashimi by lunch, and between sessions we snorkel the Anga Faru reef before a farewell night of Bodu Beru, the islands’ big-drum dance.

From 23 to 30 May, we follow the southwest swell to the breaks of North Malé Atoll, where expert guides lead a dawn session at 6 am and two more before sunset. Paddling out three times a day makes for a full-body workout, and when the swell drops, we swap boards for snorkelling on the local reef.
