Last week The Karma Group celebrated the soft opening of Karma Salak, the new resort located in the stunning mountain region of Bogor in West Java. Dignitaries and VIP guests were greeted with flower necklaces and signature Karma Pala cocktails. This followed with an opening speech by a Karma Salak representative and the local head of territory.
There was a traditional ceremony of prayer led by the local moslem ustadz/chaplain and the ceremonial cutting of the cone rice together with the head of the village. The evening concluded with inspirational Sudanese traditional gamelan music and a celebration dinner of local speciality Kambing Guling ‘live cooking’. Karma Salak, Indonesia is now open for bookings and we recommend you book ahead to enjoy the splendid array of Sudanese and Indonesian dishes.
