Our Rock n Roll bolthole in the heart of London’s Soho once again played host to some of the biggest names in pop and rock recently, in keeping with Karma Group’s dedication to all things entertainment. The names George & Kevin O’Dowd may not be immediately familiar – yet both brothers are creative mavericks – one a designer and author, the other responsible for some of the biggest pop songs of all time -and who just happens to have a special connection with us here at Karma…
Back when Karma Group Chairman John Spence was carving out a niche in the music industry, he discovered one of the era’s most influential acts and personalities – one Boy George – a.k.a George O’Dowd! That connection was reforged on Wednesday 29 March when both O’Dowd brothers joined us at Karma Sanctum Soho to celebrate the launch of Kevin’s new book of poetry entitled Reflections In Rhyme. Boy George hasn’t lost a step and was as resplendent as ever in a dapper black suit topped with a mint green oversized bowler hat. A host of 80’s pop legends were also in attendance, including Spandau Ballet’s Steve Norman and Leee John from Imagination.
Please let us know in advance when these things are on! We would have loved to go!!!
Same… We would have loved it!
