Over the weekend, Karma Beach Bali at Karma Kandara resort in Bali suffered a fire. Thankfully the outlet was closed at the time and no members of staff or clients were present, and most importantly nobody was injured in the incident.
While Karma Beach Bali is currently closed, It’s important to note that no other parts of Karma Kandara were in any way affected and the villas and onsite services such as di Mare Restaurant, Temple Lounge, Karma Spa and the Gym are fully operational, and the resort remains totally open and functional.
The good news is that Bali’s best beach destination will undergo a re-design and re-build and, in the meantime, there are plenty of food and beverage options and unique experiences to enjoy.
In the short term and for the festive season, there will be a pop-up Karma Beach Bali utilising the beach and existing structures including the Tiki Hut and BBQ area, Karma Spa and the Yoga Bale.
In the longer term, Karma Beach Bali will undergo a complete re-build to ensure that it again, becomes the best beach destination in Bali.
Voted as the ‘Best Beach Club in Bali’ by Hello Bali magazine and amongst the ‘World’s 50 Best Beach Bars’ by CNN Travel, Karma Beach Bali has long been enjoyed by members, hotel guests, celebrities, sports luminaries, entertainers and day visitors.
Look out for upcoming announcements about the reopening of one of the world’s best beach venues.
