Polo is thought to be one of the oldest team sports on Earth – dating back more than 2,000 years. The Persian military played a kind of proto polo and the game has long been associated with royalty and nobility. It’s also one of the most exhilarating and prestigious spectator sports out there!

The Guards Polo Club was founded in 1955 and has been a cornerstone of British polo ever since – its current President is His Majesty King Charles III, himself a keen polo player. The Ladies Charity Polo Tournament is a relatively recent addition to the club’s calendar, showcasing the growing prominence of women in this traditionally male-dominated sport – and trust us, these fierce women are incredible athletes who are just as skilled if not more than their male counterparts!
On 31 August 2024, Karma Group Members are invited to indulge in the full VIP treatment at this illustrious event. The day begins with a Pimm’s reception at 11am setting the tone for a day of indulgence as we mingle with British high society. A sumptuous three-course lunch will then be served in the beautifully appointed Clubhouse, featuring British culinary classics and top tier wine.
As the afternoon unfolds, guests will have prime seats to view two exhilarating matches, starting at 3pm, featuring the best female players in the sport battling it out in high-paced matches showcasing incredible athleticism and dexterity. The event also features a live charity auction that will raise money for Mary’s Meals which provides nutritious meals to schoolchildren in deprived parts of the world. There’s also a live DJ adding to the festive atmosphere all the way through until 6pm.
