We’ve got a sweet octet of Karma Curated experiences to tempt you with this edition, taking us through festive season and into winter sun adventures all the way into Spring with a series of shows, listening parties, island hopping, horse riding and more.
We start the run on 21 November at Somerset House, pouring drinks at Setlist before skating beneath a 40ft Christmas tree in its historic courtyard, beginners welcome. On 05 December, we gather at Chez Antoinette for pre-show drinks ahead of a candlelit concert of Hans Zimmer’s film scores, from The Lion King to Gladiator and Interstellar, at Central Hall Westminster. The following night, we settle into welcome drinks at The Hero in Maida Vale before a traditional Sunday roast, Christmas jumpers the unofficial dress code. On 09 December, we dine in front of panoramic Sydney Harbour views at Whalebridge ahead of Christmas Actually, a Love Actually-inspired musical at the Sydney Opera House starring Australian cabaret performer Naomi Price. We close out the run’s UK and Australian leg on 17 December at Adelaide’s Apoteca, over a five-course Christmas supper and a three-hour drinks package, tinsel strongly encouraged. By February, we welcome Members to Koh Samui’s Karma Panalee for a sunset dinner of local flavours, then send them out the next morning for a full day aboard a private speedboat, spotting dolphins, visiting Pig Island’s famous swimming pigs and snorkelling the reefs beyond. By May, we begin at Karma Royal Candidasa in Bali with a welcome dinner, a market visit, tastings of local fruit and a hands-on cooking lesson with resident chef Nanno, the day’s flavours returning that evening for a communal Indonesian dinner. We round out the season at Karma Minoan in Crete, following a welcome dinner with horseback riding around the village of Fourni, restorative yoga beside its old monastery, a hike through Kritsa Gorge or Kroustas Forest, and a final Greek Night of food, music and local tradition.
