Speaking of unique Karma experiences, it’s time to look forward to the latest edition of Caliwine-ication. Season 4 arrives in the midst of the festive period on Thursday 29 December as storied chef extraordinaire and L.A. native Joe Antonishek showcases another of his favourite California winemakers: Robert Mondavi – the man widely recognised as establishing Napa Valley as one of the finest wine-making regions on the planet. Mondavi established his vineyards back in 1966 with the bold vision of producing bottles that compete with the best that Europe could offer. And he did! Now, guests at Karma Kandara will have the opportunity to sample five of the vineyard’s finest accompanied by Joe’s show-stopping dishes from his signature five-course California cuisine and wine-pairing dinner – think Monterey Bay shellfish chowder with a crisp 2017 chardonnay and lamb pastrami with a plummy 2018 cab sav to mention just two of the irresistible pairings. Ibiza legend Jon Sa Trinxa will be providing the musical accompaniment before and after dinner at Temple Lounge and Karma Beach.
