A Tour de Force of Sensory Delights

Scent blending in Covent Garden. Candlelight ballads from Arijit Singh in Delhi. Sparkling wine in a Kent vineyard. This week’s Karma Curated experiences are a sensory showcase of tastes, scents, sounds and sights from every corner of the world…

Our first port of call is London this June and the Experimental Perfume Club in Covent Garden, where blending masters guide you through the craft of creating your own personalised signature scent. Then, debut your new fragrance in appropriately elegant surroundings at the Haymarket Hotel in Soho, over a traditional High Tea accompanied by Bollinger champagne and teas sourced from around the world. Quintessential London, done properly.

From one storied capital to another as we head to Delhi, where two very different evenings await. The Candlelight Mehfil at Le Méridien New Delhi pays tribute to legendary singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Arijit Singh with a candlelight performance and curated bites. Shortly after, our popular Vine and Unwind series convenes at Qla with the elegant Qutub Minar minaret as backdrop, built around sommelier-led tastings and relaxed long-table conversation.

August brings the Long Lunch in the Vines at the award-winning Gusbourne Estate in Kent, the Garden of England, where sparkling-wine tastings and vineyard views frame a leisurely afternoon in the full blush of late summer.

Spring in Australia sees the Karma Member Mixer series return, first to Melbourne’s Southbank riverside at Hopscotch in September, then to Sydney in October at The Squire’s Landing beneath the Harbour Bridge.Karma Supper Club rounds out the year with characteristic ambition. October brings a seafood evening in the Isles of Scilly, inspired by the ingredient-led philosophy of the late American chef Charlie Trotter, where balance and simplicity guide every course. The series then travels to Karma Borgo di Colleoli in Tuscany for the Italian Heritage Table, a menu drawn from The Silver Spoon and the timeless rhythms of Italian home cooking. Two evenings, two traditions, one underlying conviction: that the table remains the finest place to be!
