‘A Toast to the Beginning of a Better Year ahead’

Wishing everyone a happy new year! John Spence reflects upon what has been a tremendously humbling year and looks ahead with a toast to the beginning of what we all hope will be a much better year! The highpoint is news about an amazing new Kama Group travel product that will be launched in January that will benefit Members enormously (this is a must-watch to find out more). All this plus possible new resorts in the Caribbean and Brazil. John reiterates his immense gratitude to all the staff – The  Karma Group introduced a strong mandate earlier this year to support staff in need that will not only continue but increase substantially. Last but not least, a big thank you to all our Members and Owners. In his words: ‘The loyalty you have displayed to us is not taken for granted – we truly are all in this together.’

  1. Good to hear ongoing plans. However, what would really help to calm nerves about our ongoing fractional owner payments (last one due in April) is if our emails would get a response. I’ve sent two emails so far in the last few months with no reply asking if it is possible to roll over points and the vouchers received on joining as there is no way to access any properties from here in Saudi Arabia.. If someone could get back to us, I’d really appreciate that.

    1. Happy New Year, Suzie! Warm wishes to you and all your loved ones from the Karma Group. Please rest assured that we are looking into the details of your membership with us. A Karma Odyssey Navigator will get in touch with you to discuss all details and answer any queries that you have.

  2. Hello John….thanks for this latest pod cast but please don’t apologize or feel guilty for being in a lovely place with your family. You deserve this. I`ve enjoyed these little chats during this year. So much more than just a few minutes of conversation. I look forward to finding the next session on Face book……I enjoy learning about the company and you, sharing information on your many destinations or hearing news of new projects. Finally i enjoy reflecting on what you`ve been talking about. You always provoke a memory which inspires me to look back through my albums of previous holiday adventures and photos. Looking forward to more in 2021. xx

    1. Hi Kathy, thank you for your kind words of encouragement. We do hope that you had a wonderful New Years! We have some great things coming in 2021 and we cannot wait to share more amazing memories with you this year. #StaySafe #KarmaCommunity

  3. Many thanks for your very positive and uplifting pod cast. Communicating with the Karma Community is key, and we applaud the manner in which you are doing this.
Like many others, we have had to cancel our planned trips to Bali and Goa. As frequent visitors to Goa, we are really missing the sun and the friendly people, especially at this time of the year.
However, as you say, we will get back to normality, even if its going to take a little longer.
With this in mind, it would be good to hear what plans you have for rolling over points that are due to expire and it is not possible to book a stay. There is also a strong possibility, that once we are getting clear of the crisis, there will be insufficient places available to book. What are your plans in this regard?
We look forward to your next message update and wine choice!

    1. Hi Eva, thank you for your great feedback! Sorry to hear that you have had to change your plans and we are looking forward to sharing some great holidays with you very soon. Our Karma Odyssey Navigators will be in touch with your shortly to answer these and any other questions that you may have, but I can confirm that any unused entitlements that were due to expire have been automatically extended with no additional charge #StaySafe #KarmaCommunity

  4. Hi John, greetings to you and all members of the Karma family. South Africa has also been hit hard by the pandemic and it looks like 2021 is not going to the turning point for the better as we had hoped. However, as other members have also indicated, it would be reassuring if you could once again just touch on the issue of accumulated points which can be used once we return to normailty. I hope that once we get to that point, there will be sufficient space in the various resorts to accommodate us, as you would imagine, we are dying to get out.(No pun intended)
