Countryside escapes, sporting rivalries, Khmer New Year, cinema nostalgia and a dome of stars over Uluru: the past few weeks have ranged far and wide across the Karmaverse. Here’s a look back at some of the adventures our Members have been enjoying…
Carcassonne’s Cultural Treasures Uncovered
Southern France revealed layers of history and culture as Members journeyed from Karma Château de Samary through ancient Roman routes, museums, and the iconic Cité de Carcassonne. Thoughtful regional dining and shared moments brought the warmth and conviviality to an experience rich in French heritage and discovery.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the curated event. The itinerary was most interesting and the local cuisine excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and engaging, ensuring our experience was memorable. We’ll surely return!

Field Of Light: An Uluru Experience
Iconic sandstone monolith Uluru in central Australia provided the backdrop for one of Karma’s most moving recent escapes, where Members were able to connect to the land and to one another over shared meals, Segway journeys around the base of the rock and evenings beneath the southern hemisphere stars. The experience culminated with the breathtaking Field of Light installation – 50,000 glowing stems illuminating the Red Centre beneath the night sky.
Our visit to Uluru was truly something special, one of those experiences that stays with you long after you’ve left. From the moment we arrived, being amongst friends who already had a connection made everything feel so easy, warm, and familiar. It wasn’t just a trip; it felt like we were being gently invited into something meaningful.
The weekend unfolded beautifully, filled with laughter, shared meals, and the kind of relaxed, genuine moments that only happen when you’re in good company. The food, the conversations, and the stunning surroundings all came together to create a sense of connection—not just with each other, but with the landscape itself.
One of the highlights was the Segway tour around the base of Uluṟu. Gliding quietly along, taking in the immense beauty and presence of the rock, was both fun and quietly moving. It gave us a unique perspective and a chance to really absorb the scale and significance of such an iconic place. Thank you, Charlotte and Kirsty, for your wonderful hosting.

Art, Wine & The Medici Walls
In Tuscany, members embraced the slower rhythm of Italian living with vineyard tastings, Renaissance history tours and leisurely lunches woven throughout their stay at Karma Borgo di Colleoli. Walks through Lucca with its beautifully preserved Renaissance walls, evenings of fine dining and time spent simply enjoying the Borgo created a beautifully balanced cultural escape.

Salt, Soul & Spices Of Goa
Goa’s culinary traditions came vividly to life through recent riverside fishing excursions, Feni tastings, live music dinners and hands-on local experiences. From Chef Kundan’s welcome feast to fresh coastal flavours along the River Sal – where members enjoyed the day’s catch transformed into a beautiful seafood feast – the journey captured the spirit, warmth and soul of this delightful region beautifully.
The Salt, Soul & Spices of Goa experience by Karma Group was nothing short of exceptional, an immersive celebration of Goan culture, cuisine, and community. From the thoughtfully curated itinerary to the seamless execution of each activity, every detail reflected a deep commitment to creating memorable experiences. The blend of local traditions, such as the early morning fishing excursion and the exploration of Goa’s iconic feni-making process, added an authentic and enriching dimension to the event.
A special mention must go to Chef Kundan Jha, whose hospitality was truly praiseworthy. His warmth, passion, and culinary expertise elevated the entire experience. Whether it was the welcome dinner or the coastal feast crafted from the day’s fresh catch, each dish was a testament to his creativity and dedication. Chef Kundan didn’t just serve food; he created stories on a plate, making guests feel both indulged and at home.
Overall, this event was a perfect blend of luxury, culture, and heartfelt hospitality. It beautifully captured the essence of Goa while delivering a refined and unforgettable experience.

The Spirit Of Khmer New Year
In Siem Reap, members welcomed Khmer New Year through temple visits, including the breathtaking Angkor Wat, sunset cruises, lotus workshops and traditional Apsara performances. Blending celebration with cultural immersion, the experience offered a vibrant and meaningful glimpse into Cambodia’s rich traditions.
Experience at Karma Bayon during the Khmer New Year was amazing. While we had a grand view of sunrise and sunset in Cambodia with spectacular curated events, it was a little tiring to hop on and hop off between three major temples in 3 hours. The staff and their support with smiling faces and great food kept us going! Thanks to everyone at Karma for making our holiday memorable in Siem Reap!

Gourmet Cinema Series: Gurugram
The Gurugram edition of the Gourmet Cinema Series unfolded exactly as intended – relaxed and effortlessly social. Set within The Piano Man, the afternoon combined standout food, a classic film on the big screen, and the kind of easy Sunday atmosphere Members were happy to settle into for hours.
It was a very well-organised event, and a very thoughtfully planned venue, and the servings during the show complemented the essence of the nostalgic theme. Shall look forward to a similar event in the future too. Keep it up!

Between authentic local dining and moments of cultural tradition, the experience captured both the energy and spirit of Thai New Year.
My wife (Candra) and I very much enjoyed the Karma curated indeed. Thanks a ton for your warm and fun hospitality. The meals served were abundant & of course with local taste that met our expectations. I saw everyone enjoyed it. You guys are amazing! You have made the Thailand curated event run very smoothly. Very well prepared from the very first day until the water gun war, all are provided, such as a waterproof phone pouch, and not forgetting the ceremonial Thailand, every day we started the program. BIG THANKS to Bird, May, and to all Karma staff who make our Curated memorable.
This is our 1st curated, and we are very pleased to join the next Karma Curated. 5 for Karma Royal Boat Lagoon, you are awesome.

Thoughtfully curated cultural encounters and meaningful local connections created an experience that felt very grounding and memorable.
What a variable and enjoyable experience! The whole 2 days were well organised, expertly chaperoned, and interesting. The variety of the two days was very good. Of special import were the evening dinners where there was ample opportunity to get to know fellow guests, Eny, and the wonderful staff at Karma Royal Sanur.
