With the Autumn equinox already upon us at time of writing, our thoughts turn to end of year festivities – which in the world of Karma of course means the 12 Days of Karma. Here’s a little taster of what you can look forward to at four of our properties in Bali, Bavaria, the English Cotswolds and Scotland’s rural heartlands…
Karma Kandara
Take a deep breath…this year’s 12 Days of Karma at Karma Kandara in Bali is a feast for all your senses, featuring the best in fine dining, fine wines, entertainment, seasonal traditions and communal celebration. From ceremonial tree lighting to an indulgent Christmas Day brunch tailored to the tropics, to world class DJs serenading guests down at Le Club 22 on Karma Beach – plus gatherings that bring to life the unique culture of the island through music, dance, theatre and food – expect a perfectly pitched kaleidoscope of experiences to see you through Christmas and into the New Year.
Karma Salford Hall
What could be more quintessentially festive than celebrating Christmas and New Year in a Tudor residence in England’s most beautiful rural environs – the fabled Cotswolds. Karma Salford Hall is nestled in the gorgeous Vale of Evesham – and everything about it evokes the spirit of the season. Further enhanced with happenings like decoration making, fireside carols, a lavish five-course Christmas Day feast in the panelled dining room, a cocktails masterclass, a NYE masquerade ball and much, much more… Noel has never felt so…well, Noel!
Karma Bavaria
Ok – so Christmas in the Bavarian Alps can perhaps give the Cotswolds a run for its money when it comes to traditional Christmases! If snowy peaks and lakeside horse drawn carriage rides with a warming cup of mulled wines take your fancy, then Karma Bavaria is the place for you this festive season! Expect lots of feasting, winter sports, Christmas markets, fine wines and camaraderie over the course of 12 days – culminating in a New Year’s Eve celebration for which the Bavarians are justly famed.
Karma Lake of Menteith
Feel your way into an historic, bucolic and exceedingly peaceful festive season in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable: on the shores of Scotland’s only lake -Lake Menteith – in the heart of rural Stirlingshire. Karma Lake of Menteith might be one of our newest properties, but festive season celebrations will be decidedly old world. Kicking off with a cheese and wine gathering on the 23rd, through a quiz fuelled by Jenson Button’s Coachbuilt Whisky, to a Christmas feast with decidedly Scottish accoutrements (think smoked Scottish salmon and Haggis stuffing in the turkey!) and a traditional Hogmanay gathering on New Year’s Eve – this is a high country festive season you’ll never forget!
I am interested
We do hope you can be part of 12 days of Karma at one of our many resorts, Munish!
