di Mare at Karma Kandara is no stranger to hospitality awards, and 2026 has proven no different as our much loved clifftop Italian has picked up two significant nods this year. Luxury lifestyle publishing titan Tatler recognised di Mare amongst the very best fine dining restaurants that Asia has to offer – one of only a handful of venues representing Bali. di Mare was also singled out in Exquisite’s Best Restaurants & Bars 2026.
It’s the latest addition to a lengthening list of recognition for Karma Kandara’s dining, bars and beach clubs, following honours from Exquisite Media, Haute Grandeur, LUXlife and OpenTable over the years, to name just a few.
Perched 85 metres above the Indian Ocean on the cliffs of Uluwatu, di Mare has spent recent years sharpening its focus, moving from broadly Mediterranean cooking towards its current incarnation, serving up exquisitely prepared authentic Italian fine dining, led by Group Executive Chef Joseph Antonishek. Seasonal ingredients, handcrafted pasta and an extensive international wine list sit alongside one of Bali’s most jaw-dropping ocean views

Down at sea level, Karma Beach Bali has its own case to make: a nomination for Best Beach Club at the Exquisite Awards 2026, decided this time by public vote.
