Karmasee Restaurant at Karma Bavaria has an outstanding reputation for the quality of its cuisine – from locally inspired classics like a crisp pork schnitzel in porcini sauce and a plump barbarie duck breast with red cabbage puree to a rich pearl barley risotto. Now Karmasee has added an all-new culinary string to its bow in the shape of an exclusive “India on the Table” Menu, developed by our Rajasthan based culinary mastermind Jeevraj Singh, who arrived at Karma Bavaria in April with a remit to create a brand new suite of dishes as well as training the local kitchen team led by new head chef Dario Quinteros in some of the unique techniques of Indian cooking.
The result: A dozen brand new dishes representing various regions of the Indian subcontinent – from a spicy-sour Goan prawn curry to a classic Aloo Gobi of potato, broccoli & cauliflower hailing from the north of India. Other classics include a rich Paneer Masala using local cheese, butter, cream and tomatoes and a choice of Lamb or Murgh (chicken) Biryani. All topped off with a cooling Kulfi – made from homemade condensed milk flavoured with nuts and cardamom. Chef Jeevraj will be staying at Karma Bavaria until early May – he and the Karma Bavaria kitchen team are all super excited to share these exquisite new dishes with Karma Group members over the coming months.
