Join us for an unforgettable evening of fine wine and gastronomy at Karma Lake of Menteith on Saturday, 16 November, as we partner with renowned specialists Woodwinter Wine & Whisky for an exploration of Northern Hemisphere wine treasures – and drams of fine firewater to boot!

The evening showcases prestigious vintages from the Woodwinter cellars, expertly paired with head chef Joe Peden’s innovative Scottish meets American South cuisine, with the emphasis on fresh, farm to table ingredients. 

The elegant menu begins with delicate smoked mackerel accompanied by beetroot salad and horseradish dressing, perfectly paired with Blackbook’s Painter of Light Chardonnay, featuring tropical notes and refined oak character. A fresh tomato and sourdough panzanella salad follows, complemented by Hungary’s vibrant Sebestyén Rosé, offering delightful notes of strawberry and tomato leaf.

The main courses showcase venison with blue cheese dauphinoise, poached pear, and bramble jus, matched with the elegant Fabio Motta Bolgheri Rosso, followed by succulent lamb rump with ratatouille, accompanied by the rich Chateauneuf du Pape from Domaine Chante Cigale. The evening concludes with a surprise dessert and Isle of Raasay single malt, known for its light peat and dark fruit profile.
