There are dinners you remember, and then there are tables you talk about long after. These two Karma Supper Clubs sit firmly in the second camp.
On 20 February, we’re alighting on the limestone cliffs of Karma Kandara, Bali. ‘A Journey Through Bold Heat’ begins with cocktails at Sarang Lounge before flowing into a five-course, Ikoyi-inspired dinner where spice, heat and indulgence take over. Lobster tempura, citrus-chilli scallops, wagyu with suya butter – food that invites you to lean in, not sit back.

On 22 March, we’re headed nearly 8000 miles westward to Karma Lake of Menteith for an inspired homage to ‘Kitchen Confidential’. Chef Iain builds a six-course menu around Anthony Bourdain’s singular punk-rock worldview: food without airs, flavour without compromise. Bone marrow and sourdough, West Coast oysters, proper beef tartare, foie gras with prunes – dishes that respect tradition and the people who cook it. Served on the glorious shores of Scotland’s only lake, it’s cooking that does the talking, with no need for embellishment.
Two tables. Two continents. Gourmet bon vivants get on board!
