At Karma Kandara, evolution comes with a view. Our flagship resort recently unveiled two striking new venues — Sarang Lounge and Samudra Ganesha — in an evening that blended celebration, ocean air and a sense of renewal.
Perched high on the limestone cliffs, Sarang Lounge is Bali’s first clifftop co-working and social space — a sunrise coffee bar by day, a cocktail hub by night, and the island’s most scenic new venue for private events. Below, at beach level, Samudra Ganesha has transformed the much-loved Beach Shack into a full-fledged Indian restaurant and bar led by Chef Jeevraj Singh, serving coastal curries, tandoori grills and masala chai martinis in a vibrant, art-filled setting.
The launch doubled as a tribute to 17 Karma Group team members celebrating 20 years with the company, honoured personally by Karma Group Chairman John Spence. As the sun melted into the horizon, guests moved from Sarang Lounge to di Mare’s poolside terrace for an Indonesian feast and music under the stars — a fitting toast to loyalty, creativity and the ever-evolving spirit of Karma.
