Karma Bavaria’s Summer Cornucopia

Karma Bavaria chef Dario Qinteros and his talented kitchen team recently conjured a delicious new Summer menu, with a raft of enticing new dishes ready to delight the palates of Members and guests. The diverse offerings showcase a perfect blend of local Bavarian specialties and international favourites, catering to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences.

Italy is just a hop-skip across the Alps from Schliersee and there’s a lot of culinary crossover. This is reflected in chef Dario’s succulent Bavarian Summer Black Truffle Risotto —  a creamy delight topped with crispy parmesan chips. Then there’s the German White Beef, grilled to perfection and served with herb butter and roasted potatoes.  Fish enthusiasts will relish the Saibling – a delicious freshwater fish harvested from Schliersee Lake, expertly baked and accompanied by wild yellow cauliflower.

The menu also features global inspirations like Vic’s Fish & Chips — created by Karma Group’s very own COO, Vic Faulkner — and the slow-braised Mediterranean Lamb Shank, whose origins are in Crete. For those seeking lighter options, the Karmasee Wellness Salad offers a refreshing mix of seasonal ingredients.

Chef Dario’s commitment to using fresh, local produce shines through in dishes like the Apple and Horseradish Soup, a Bavarian classic. Love charcuterie? Opt for Chef Dario’s personally curated Artisan Bavaria Discovery Plate, which provides a delightful sampling of regional cheeses and cured meats.
