This one’s for all you burger aficionados – and our global cadre of Karma chefs who consider themselves burger creators extraordinaire! Karma Group is on a quest to discover the perfect burger with the launch of the Karma Burger Challenge.
This mouthwatering competition calls on the talented chefs from Karma Group’s global portfolio of resorts to craft the perfect burger that will be featured on menus across all properties worldwide.
The high-steaks challenge (sorry!) features three regional heats taking place in Europe, India, and Southeast Asia over the coming months. The champion chef from each regional event will be flown to Karma Kandara, our flagship resort in Bali, for the ultimate Burger Showdown the week of 07-13 October 2024.
A cracking panel of judges will scrutinise every delectable detail – from the patty to the bun to the tasty components and side accompaniments. Only one burger will reign supreme, with the winner receiving a luxurious two-week vacation for two at any Karma Group resort worldwide.
The triumphant chef will be announced live on the main stage at the Southeast Asia Karma Awards Party on 11 October in Bali. Guests at Karma Group resorts can look forward to sinking their teeth into the award-winning Karma Burger when it makes its debut on 03 December 2024 – Karma Group’s anniversary date.
