Across the 12 Days of Karma, Karma Beach plays host to a festive season built around sunset soundtracks, barefoot dining and evenings that slip effortlessly into starlit dancing, curated by Bali’s best DJs. Things kick off with a tree-lighting gathering, then the Feast of the Seven Fishes and Christmas brunch, before the tempo rises – from Tuna Fight Club to the Sands × Karma Beach progressive-house session.
The centrepiece is New Year’s Eve: the Venetian Dreams Masquerade – a coastal ritual where masks replace sequins, firelight frames the ocean and resident selectors steer the night towards first light. Seth (3iZ), a US-born producer with roots in sax and piano, brings deep, melodic house sensibility honed across North America and Asia. Luciano (LuN) – whose work spans beach clubs and lounge settings – threads warm, atmospheric grooves, while Fran Tinez holds down afternoon and late-evening slots with versatile house craftsmanship. Jimmy Sax injects live brass texture into beach sessions, and MR CLN commands late-night runs.
The first days of January ease back with Honky Tonk Hangover, Super Tuscan Sunset and Pantai Jiwa – long lunches, slow afternoons and more curated sound. It’s less about spectacle than rhythm – a season of ocean-cooled evenings, good food, generous playlists and DJs who know how to read a shoreline.
