Stories as Journeys: Tuscany, Carcassonne & Bali

Step beyond the page and into the worlds of some of today’s most compelling storytellers. Our Karma Curated Immersive Literary Experiences offer more than conversation – they are journeys of imagination, set against landscapes that inspire.

In Tuscany, Amanda Craig joins Members at Karma Borgo di Colleoli (17-20 October) for intimate Q&As and culinary feasts, offering insights into her acclaimed novels while allowing the region itself to take centre stage – with the added veneer of her extraordinary imagination.

In southern France, Kate Mosse attends Karma Château de Samary (25–27 October), marking the 20th anniversary of her international bestseller Labyrinth with readings and discussions, leaving Members free to explore Carcassonne’s medieval streets – feeling the intrigue that infuses the novel.

Over in Bali, legendary explorer, author and filmmaker Dr Lawrence Blair (The Ring of Fire) appears at Karma Kandara (17–19 November), sharing stories and reflections as part of immersive experiences designed around the island – and the archipelago’s rich culture, history and natural attributes.

These retreats are designed to inspire and linger long after the final page –  extraordinary opportunities to meet acclaimed authors in relaxed, engaging settings and connect with each country on a deeper cultural level. Spaces are filling up fast, so book early and let the stories unfold!
