Snake Charmers – Chinese New Year Celebrations

As the Lunar New Year approaches, our resorts in Southeast Asia are preparing to usher in the Year of the Wooden Snake, which begins on 29 January 2025. This year is particularly significant in Chinese astrology, as the Snake represents wisdom, charm, and transformation, while the Wood element symbolizes growth, creativity, and new beginnings – values I’m sure we can all subscribe to right now!

At Karma Kandara, guests can experience an authentic Lion Dance performance at di Mare restaurant at 6 PM on 29 January, followed by special Peking duck menus at both di Mare and Tiki Bar prepared by Chef Joe and his team.

Meanwhile, Karma Royal Jimbaran will host a festive dinner on 28 January starting at 7PM, featuring traditional Chinese New Year dishes including Wonton Soup, Crab Corn Soup, Peking Duck, and Pork Belly. The evening will be enhanced by an acoustic duo performing Chinese New Year-themed songs.

Karma Royal Candidasa will offer a special Chinese New Year set dinner menu beginning at 7 PM on 29 January.
