We’re over the moon at the way these deep dives into destinations have gone over with you our Members and we’ll continue to bring you more unique curated adventures in the weeks and months to come. Saints & Sinners in Provence
The iconic Le Preverger Estate near St Tropez played host to a weekend of wellness – and Provencal decadence! From invigorating morning fitness sessions to sipping roses at sunsets to wine tours and tastings, family-style feasts overlooking the Côte d’Azur and St Tropez day-tripping, this retreat was one for the annals. The group left with full hearts, new friends, and a collective cry of “Can we do it all again next year?!”
High Country Links & Golden Drinks
What combination could be more quintessentially Scottish than golf and whisky? Our gentleman’s weekend at Karma Lake of Menteith proved the point, as our gents teed off at prestigious local courses Aberfoyle and Aberdour, clinked glasses with world class drams, and even squeezed in a visit to historic St. Andrews. A hole-in-one experience from start to finish!
House of Karma Birthday Bash
House of Karma’s first birthday bash typified the collective’s dedication to decadence, deliciousness and dancing, with a classic Mediterranean feast served at Fortuna Trattoria in Sydney, plus tarot readings, burlesque performances, and conversation cards hidden under plates This was anything but your average dinner party. Here’s to many more years of luxury rebellion!
Balinese Bliss and Blessings
This was an unforgettable deep dive into Bali’s spiritual dimension – in some cases, quite literally! There were water blessings from high priests, ancient temple explorations, kecak dances and cheeky macaque monkey encounters, all of which made for an unforgettable cultural immersion. Soul-soothing and eye-opening in equal measure.
Sailing the Scilly Isles
A select crew of Karma pirates were lucky enough to set sail on a leisurely voyage among the magical Isles of Scilly, spotting seals, sipping local wines, and soaking up the maritime charm. There was also time to tour the local St Martin’s vineyard, plus a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration – just what the captain ordered!
Goa Beyond the Beaches
This was a culture and culinary journey of discovery into Goa’s secret sides. Our curious explorers unearthed Goa’s hidden treasures, from mythic tales in Chandrapur to prehistoric caves to colonial mansions in Margao. They left with full bellies (thanks to delicious home-cooked Goan feasts) and a myriad magical memories!
Artistic Escapades in Bali
Move over, Picasso! Our Members unleashed their inner artists at Karma Kandara, painting surfboards and capturing Bali’s beauty through camera lenses under the expert tutelage of Artists in Residence Reif Meyers (montage art) and Stanley Aryanto (photography). A laid back masterclass in creative expression and tropical indulgence.
Aegean Island-Hopping Adventure
Sailing the Aegean, exploring Spinalonga, feasting at local tavernas – our modern-day Odysseus(es) had the time of their lives! This Greek adventure was the stuff of legends, complete with crystal-clear waters, coastal hiking trails and mouth watering mezze at local tavernas.
