Just a handful of places remain for this month’s Karma Supper Club experiences — intimate gatherings where cuisine meets storytelling in two evocative settings.
On 28 November in Schliersee, The Physiology of Taste unfolds as a sensory journey guided by Chef Dario Quinteros. Inspired by Brillat-Savarin’s 19th-century philosophy of food as memory and meaning, it’s an elegant eight-course exploration of taste — lobster in coral butter, scallop carpaccio, and the “sweetness of closure” in chocolate and vanilla.

Then, on 19 December in Hoi An, A Taste of Home invites diners to rediscover the warmth of Vietnamese family cooking. Chef Le Thanh Tuan draws on his childhood on Cu Lao Island to craft dishes that balance nostalgia and artistry – from tiger prawn salad with Tra Que herbs to Quang-style grouper noodles and black sesame banana cake. Each course is a love letter to the meals that make a house feel like home.
Two countries, two extraordinary nights – and one last chance to savour them.
