Set in the heart of Scotland’s breathtaking Trossachs just a hop-skip away from Karma Lake of Menteith, the Callander Jazz and Blues Festival has blossomed into the largest musical gathering of its kind for the Jazz & Blues genres, North of the border.
Across four days of musical celebration from Thursday 28 September to Sunday 01 October, music aficionados of every ilk and from every corner of the globe gather in the pretty town of Callander as Autumn’s colours begin to settle on the surrounding valley.
This year’s festival promises to be grander than ever, boasting an impressive lineup of 60 gigs spread across 10 different venues. For four soul-stirring days, the air will resonate to the sounds of jazz, blues, swing, and rock played by some of its most talented exponents from Scotland, then North of England and beyond. From the intimate tones of solo artists to the electrifying energy of big bands, more than 150 musicians will hit the stage, from exciting up and comers to long established legends – all against the backdrop of one of Scotland’s prettiest settings.
