We are delighted to announce Karma Group recently received the Red Ribbon Award by the Human Touch Foundation. This Goa based youth-focused organisation is dedicated to improving the quality of life of women, youth, and children living with HIV.
Since 2019, Karma Group has participated in the Human Touch Foundation’s nutritional program by providing essential supplies, sanitary products, and food materials every month. The Red Ribbon Award was presented by former cricket icon Ajay Jadeja to acknowledge Karma Group’s long-term support of the foundation.
The Human Touch Foundation is a registered non-governmental organization that works in the field of child and adolescent welfare, HIV and substance abuse. It caters to the needs of over 200 vulnerable young adults in Goa with anti-retroviral treatments, psychosocial support, nutritional and reproductive health programs and so much more.
The award was received on behalf of the Karma Group by Sudesh Dessai, Manager of Security and Administration at Karma Royal Haathi Mahal resort in Goa, who is actively involved in many of the initiatives initiated by the foundation. Another Indian charity Karma Group supports in India includes Christel House, an International non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of kids from impoverished inner city backgrounds.
