Karma Group recently wrapped the 2024 Senior Management Team meeting aboard the company’s floating crown jewel, the luxurious yacht Karma Fushi, which plies the waters of the stunning Maldivian archipelago. This gathering of Karma Buccaneers was no ordinary business meeting, but rather a celebration of Karma’s vision, commitment and camaraderie.
Welcomed with sweet, thirst quenching coconuts, crisp beers, and the iconic Aperol Spritz, attendees were immediately transported to a world of indulgence. The festivities commenced with a dramatic Game of Thrones-inspired video, created by charismatic VP Global Branding, Clinton Albuquerque, setting the tone for the adventures to come.
As the team settled into a topical work hard play hard groove, Karma Fushi glided among the stunning northern atolls of the Maldives – think cerulean waters, palm fringed islands and coral gardens.
The diverse menu featured a delightful blend of Maldivian, Indian, and continental cuisine, including a mouthwatering BBQ on the opening night. To elevate the experience, Karma Group Chairman John Spence treated the team to a special dinner at the renowned Patina Resort on the Fari Islands.
Beyond the boardroom sessions, the agenda was packed with team-building activities and friendly competitions. Attendees engaged in quizzes, swimming and water sports challenges, and even a spirited drinking contest during a boat-hopping expedition. The teams vied for the title of having the best hospitality on board.
In between the bustling schedule, teams found time to explore the Maldives’ stunning underwater world, going on snorkelling excursions to spot nurse sharks and marvel at the vibrant coral reefs. The eventful meeting concluded with a sophisticated black-tie dinner on the final night, celebrating Karma Group’s vision and the camaraderie of its senior leadership.
This Karma Group Senior Management Meeting was a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment not only to excellence but also to entertainment and shall we say a devil-may-care love of unexpected experiences. As we’ve always said – we’d rather be pirates than join the navy! Everyone left with a renewed sense of purpose, joie de vivre and the inspiration to drive Karma’s continued success.
