In the quintessentially French hamlet of Caux et Sauzens close to Carcassonne, where village life ticks along at its centuries-old pace, Karma Group has quietly unveiled its latest gastronomic venture. Karma Le Platane Bistrot’s grand opening drew a capacity crowd of 50+. The Mayor herself presided over proceedings, alongside a who’s who of local commerce – from the proprietor of La Belle Vacance to the village coiffeur whose scissors have shaped local identities for decades.
Chef Ronald, whose hands bear the invisible stamps of previous Michelin kitchens, circulated with trays of deceptively simple bites that told complex stories of regional terroir. Wine flowed generously, fuelling fruitful new relationships between the Karma Group team and the local community – always a priority for us. Karma Group COO, Vic Faulkner’s address struck the perfect note of humble appreciation, acknowledging that Karma Grup isn’t just setting up shop but becoming part of the village tapestry.
With Spring now officially upon us, we encourage you to book your south of France experience at Karma Château de Samary, with Carcassone on your doorstep and your very own Karma Le Platane Bistro ready to serve up a classic Cassoulet or Toulouse sausage for your delectation.
