Karma Wins Coveted Hospitality Awards

We are delighted to announce that Karma St. Martin’s has won the Visit England Rose Award 2025, a distinction given to just 100 properties nationwide in recognition of exceptional service and hospitality. Presented this September in Newbury by Lady Victoria Borwick and the Visit England team, it is an accolade that belongs as much to our staff as it does to our prestigious island retreat.

Set directly on a sweep of pristine sand where Atlantic shallows lap clear and green, Karma St. Martin’s is shaped by its setting. Here, days unfold at an island pace: boat trips to neighbouring Tresco with its extraordinary Abbey Gardens, slow walks past granite cottages and wildflower meadows, seals and seabirds glimpsed on the tide. In the evenings, members gather at the Sir Cloudesley Shovell Restaurant, where Scillonian seafood and seasonal produce — crafted into award-winning menus — have earned AA Rosettes.

With its beachside rooms, dog-friendly ethos and a team whose warmth defines every stay, Karma St. Martin’s continues to embody what makes the Scillies so singular: beauty and simplicity held in perfect balance. This Rose Award follows our recognition as Luxury Coastal Resort of the Year – Isles of Scilly at the South West Prestige Awards — two honours that reflect the spirit of place we are privileged to share.

Bookings are now open for the 2026 and 2027 seasons, with 10% off our best available rates when you call us direct and quote Rose2025. And if you’ve stayed with us before, please support us by voting in the Cornwall Awards before 10 October!
