Karma Bowls Over Bali with New Cricket League

Cricket fever is set to sweep through Bali’s stunning landscapes as we step up to sponsor the island’s exciting new cricket competition. Running from May to October 2025, the Karma Group – Bali Cricket League promises to bring six months of thrilling matches to paradise, showcasing local talent and raising the profile of cricket across Indonesia’s most famous island.

Behind this sporting revolution stands acclaimed athlete Andy Cottam, a former England cricketer whose bat once struck fear into bowlers across the English county circuit with Sussex. Now as Head of Cricket Indonesia, Cottam is channeling his passion and expertise into developing the sport throughout the archipelago. His vision for the tournament goes beyond competition – it’s about creating new opportunities for Indonesian cricketers and building community connections through sport.

The league represents a fantastic opportunity to develop and showcase cricket in one of the world’s most beautiful settings with players who have great potential that is being fulfilled thanks to coaching methods that are transforming Indonesia’s cricketing landscape. The tournament is expected to draw spectators from Bali’s local and expat communities alike, adding yet another dimension to the island’s rich cultural tapestry.
