Celebrate Idul Fitri next month with an exquisite Indonesian family-set-dinner at Karma Kandara on 31 March – available both in-villa and at di Mare restaurant from 6-9 PM. The carefully curated menu showcases authentic dishes that embody the richness of Indonesian cuisine from across the archipelago.
The feast features traditional favourites including Sayur Labu Siam, a delicate chayote dish in spiced coconut milk, and the celebrated Wagyu Beef Rendang, featuring slow-cooked short rib infused with cinnamon and chili. Other highlights include Opor Ayam, a fragrant white turmeric chicken curry, and Sambal Goreng Ati, an aromatic chicken liver dish with spicy red chilies.
No Idul Fitri celebration would be complete without Ketupat, traditional coconut-leaf wrapped rice, served alongside medjool dates and mixed crackers. Be sure to leave some room for dessert – a deliciously indulgent Nastar – butter tart filled with spiced pineapple jam.
