Spring at Karma unfolds in different registers — celebration, ritual, and reflection — shaped by where you are in the world.
Across Europe and Asia, Easter arrives as a gathering around the table. In Siem Reap, Cambodia, Karma Bayon marks the holiday with daytime activities and a special set menu served at both lunch and dinner featuring such delights as Tuna Tartare and Beef Tenderloin, framed by the slow Khmer rhythms and the magic of nearby Angkor Wat. In Bali, Karma Royal Jimbaran prepares a dedicated Easter lunch featuring Filet Mignon and Seared Snapper, while nearby Karma Royal Sanur and Karma Song Hoai over in Vietnam roll out seasonal Easter menus for Members to enjoy at their leisure. In the Cotswolds countryside, Karma Salford Hall keeps things traditional with a family-friendly Easter egg hunt followed by Sunday lunch specials in the Worcestershire hills.

In Bali, the season also welcomes Nyepi, the Balinese New Year — one of the island’s most distinctive and profound observances. The night before, the streets come alive with Ogoh Ogoh parades: towering, hand-crafted papier mache effigies carried through villages in noisy, theatrical processions designed to cleanse the island of negative spirits. Then, at sunrise, everything stops. For 24 hours, Bali falls silent — no travel, no lights, no work — creating a rare, island-wide pause. At Karma Kandara, Members experience Nyepi in comfort, with curated meals throughout the day, Congklak high tea, spa treatments and gentle activities that honour the stillness, while Karma Royal Jimbaran provides a sumptuous buffet through the afternoon. Two seasons. A host of destinations. Each celebrating in its own, meaningful way.
