Experience Nyepi, the Balinese New Year at Karma Kandara, a ceremony like no other. Witness the vibrancy and energy of the Ogoh-Ogoh as giant papier maché monsters are paraded through the streets, before the entire island falls into silence for a full 24 hours to mark the new year. No lights, no noise, just the sound of the wind rustling in tree tops and waves lapping the beach. Time for stillness and contemplation. Take a moment to unplug and reset – there’ll be refreshing cocktails, soulful spa rituals, and beachside feasts on hand as we celebrate this unique ceremonial cycle.
